Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed to the public. But according to the Australian Financial Review, the deal is estimated at over AUD$1 billion or around $650 million.

Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Melbourne, CyberCX is a leading privately-owned cybersecurity services provider in the Australia and New Zealand region. The company boasts a formidable team of approximately 1,400 skilled professionals who have positioned the Australian firm as a market leader in protecting vital infrastructures and enabling secure business transformations. The combined strengths of the two companies will provide clients with an expanded toolkit to navigate complex regulatory environments while reinforcing their resilience against ever-evolving cyber threats.

This acquisition aligns with Accenture’s ongoing strategy to boost its cybersecurity capabilities and portfolio, an ambitious move it has pursued since 2015 through notable strategic transactions such as Morphus in Brazil, MNEMO in Mexico, and Innotec Security in Spain.

Accenture is a leading global professional services firm, delivering consulting, technology, digital transformation, and operations solutions to businesses and governments. Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, the global behemoth serves clients in over 120 countries and employs around 791,000 people worldwide.
