Global Events & Talent Watch is The CODEW's intelligence series on the events where the technology industry makes its announcements and the executive, hiring, and workforce changes that show where companies are really heading.
Which events and which people are changing the direction of the technology industry? Events show where strategy becomes public. Talent moves show where it is changing. This series keeps the two apart and connects them through verified sources and analysis of why each development matters.

Executive and Workforce Developments
Every leadership item we publish states what is confirmed and what is only reported, and separates the facts from our own analysis. Recent examples include a new CEO at Boston Dynamics as it moves humanoid robots toward production, Microsoft's Office and Teams reporting lines moving under its Copilot organization, and a board appointment at Tenable, kept distinct from operating roles.

How We Verify
We use official event sites, company announcements, regulatory filings, and attributable statements as primary sources. Every date, venue, title, and affiliation is checked, and each entry shows when it was last verified. Confirmed announcements are labeled apart from reports, estimates, and plans. We do not copy event descriptions or press releases, and routine appointments or minor events are not presented as major industry developments.
Event schedules and executive appointments can change. Check the official organizer or company announcement for the latest details.
The CODEW Lens
Events and talent moves answer different questions. An event shows what companies choose to say in public and when. A leadership or workforce change shows what they are building, cutting or prioritizing. Read together, and kept to verified facts, they give a clearer view of where the industry is heading than either does alone.
