Intuit Acquires Award-Winning HR Platform GoCo

Intuit, the US-based global technology platform, announced on April 23 that it has signed an agreement to acquire GoCo, a Texas-based HR solution provider for small and mid-market businesses. Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed to the public.

The deal will see Intuit acquire key GoCo's technology and integrate GoCo’s features into the company's Intuit Enterprise Suite and QuickBooks Payroll for customers who have Premium or Elite Payroll in the US market, delivering a comprehensive Human Capital Management solution to help modern businesses manage their finances, hiring workforce, and the full employee lifecyle (from boarding to offboarding), all in one place. First introduced in 2024, Intuit Enterprise Suite is a configurable suite of integrated financial products designed to enhance mid-market businesses' productivity and profitability.

Founded in 2015, GoCo provides workforce and talent management solutions for small and mid-market business customers. The company's brings HR data to life with powerful automation and an intuitive user experience to help small and mid-market businesses build and manage more productive teams.GoCo was named a 2024 HR Tech Award Winner for Best Small Business-Focused Solution by the Stevie® Awards and Business Intelligence Group. 

According to the company's recent press release, the deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025.
